The most important meal of the day without a doubt has to be breakfast. Doctors have been claiming this for years, and I for one am a firm believer.
Starting the day right includes giving your body the fuel it needs to perform well. What better way to do that than to provide the best type of fuel for it, a good hearty healthy breakfast.
Heres 9 reasons why you should always start your day off with a healthy, balanced breakfast.
1. Have a large breakfast, good lunch and smaller dinner. Get your energy at the start of the day when you need it, instead of at the end of the day when it will be converted to fat.
2. To get your metabolism jump started you need to have food. If you are dieting and think that not eating is helping you to lose weight, you are wrong. You actually burn more calories when you eat a healthy breakfast instead of skipping it.
3. If your last meal was at dinner time, and you wait until noon to eat your next meal, your body is going to rebel against you. You won’t be able to think as clearly as you would if you had eaten a good, healthy meal.
4. When you are hungry, you might tend to get irritated easily. So eat some breakfast!
5. We live in a fast paced world full of stress. When you do not eat properly, stress can break down your immune system and more easily.
6. Eating a good breakfast helps you to concentrate better all day long. Breakfast gives you the nutrients it needs to get your brain functioning properly.
7. You need a good breakfast every morning because that’s what your mother always told you, and you should always listen to your mother, right?
So, whats for breakfast today?

I love breakfast food anyhow and usually look forward to eating breakfast, even if it is a quick one!

I used to love breakfast until I had to stop having dairy. I love cereal. Now it’s usually a bagel, juice and tea. Occasionally hot cereal (with soy milk, which is the only way I can stand it - the soy milk, that is) or eggs and toast.

Hi. I totally agree with your post recommendations. It makes all sense, that after being asleep for so many hours our blood sugar levels must be low. Some crazy diets advice people to skip meals, people should have propper advice like in your post. The 7th
Best Regards.

I miss my muesli
I should try to find it here… Still getting used to this country and haven’t really seen it. I live in a rather ‘westernized’ area of the city, so I should be able to…
Hell yes. I’ll have muesli

A cigarette and a small strong coffee with sugar is the traditional breakfast here in Bulgaria. I just can’t be doing with that and breakfast is usually what’s left over from the night before. Don’t bother with globalised branded breakfasts.
